Aventics’ environmental management system in its Laatzen plant received re-certification to ISO 14001, and the first certification of the energy management system introduced recently to ISO 50001. The international certification were given by the German technical inspection association TÜV SÜD, thus proving the compliance of Aventics with the requirements of the EU Energy efficiency directive (EED) before the compulsory deadline.
The pneumatics specialist then proved its commitment on sustainable practices and management, adopting continuous improvement of energy efficiency and environmental performances, an essential of the corporate philosophy, including also raising employees’ awareness on green practices. Aventics has also further certifications in the pipeline, for example at its Eger plant, in Hungary, already recertified to ISO 14001 during 2015, and expecting recertification to ISO 9001 and ISO/TS 16949 planned for 2016, for its high quality management standards.
