Following the recent investment in the strengthening of the HP Multi Jet fusion 5600 machine installation, Weerg, the first Italian online manufacturing service in the field of CNC machining and 3D printing, continues on its path of innovation by introducing the dyeing service for 3D printing.
The company is now able to offer a vast range of new colors for its products realized with additive manufacturing.

In addition to the classic top black, which remains a popular choice for its versatility and elegance, the range of available colors has been enriched by including bright, eye-catching shades such as yellow, red, blue, green and orange. This variety allows objects to be customised in a more specific way, adapting to different aesthetic and design requirements. For those seeking even more customised options, dyes in any RAL shade can be supplied upon request.

“With the recent investment we have increased production capacity by 30%, optimizing applications for large-scale flexible production – says Matteo Rigamonti, president and founder of Weerg -. After this operation, which led us to be the best equipped HP MJF service in the world, we knew that there was still one aspect missing to be able to fully satisfy all the design needs of our customers: coloring.”

Weerg servizio tintura colorazione stampa 3D online additivo CNCDyes are an excellent solution for those seeking a material colouring option that is both effective and aesthetically pleasing, without the disadvantages that often accompany traditional coatings. Unlike painting, which adds a layer of material to the surface of the treated object, dyeing penetrates into the material itself. This process of colour absorption ensures that the dimensional tolerances of the object remain unchanged, thus avoiding the risk of mechanical alterations due to the addition of material. In addition, dyeing ensures a more homogenous finish, resulting in a superior and uniform visual appearance across the treated surface.

“Coloring is an important aspect for many sectors, such as design, which increasingly rely on 3D printing. Being able to offer designers the possibility of having no boundaries in creativity makes our service even more competitive on the market”, concludes Rigamonti.
