Driving simulation high-fidelity with MSCERT

Dominic Gallello, president & ceo of MSC Software, is set to speak at the Autonomous vehicle test & development symposium in Stuttgart, from May 31st to June 2nd, on the topic Ensuring high-fidelity driving simulation with offline vehicle models. The presentation will take place on wednesday, June 1st at 10:00, alongside the Automotive testing expo 2016, the exhibition dedicated to new vehicle development and testing, and in conjunction with the sector’s magazine Traffic technology international.

Gallello will explore the latest developments exploiting the content of full-fidelity 3D offline simulation models, enabling real-time simulations to capture more physics, performing more accurately and adding value to the vehicle development process by staying synchronized with offline models. 3D physics-based simulations incur indeed in a computational cost poorly suited for use in development of real-time HIL and SIL simulations, preferred by Adas and autonomous vehicle engineers.
