Harting is investing in digitalisation in USA as an important market for the company’s future, due to enormous growth potential offered. The highly dynamic US economy represents indeed a huge opportunity for the Group, a supplier of solutions enabling to connect machine and plant constructors and integrated industry, as explained by Frank Brode, senior vice president New Techologies.

“Digitalisation will turn the world of today upside down, and sectors and companies will either change or perish. That’s why we are working closely with USA partners in order to properly develop this process”. Harting has been involved in several national and international committees since many years, working on this purpose with associations such as Zvei, Vdma and BDI, as well as technology associations such as Plattform Industrie 4.0 and Dfki, in addition to being a member of the Industrial Internet Consortium IIC, working in close contact with high-tech USA companies. An involvement that is gonna last in the next years. Harting will also be soon starting production in Silao, Mexico, a strategical step to expand its market position in North and Central America.
