Panasonic has developed the DP-0 digital pressure sensor for non corrosive gas, aimed to offer simple operation, functional design and a compact and lightweight body. The DP-0 series has been designed to make configuration fast and simple, offering two levels of setting mode to assure easy access to the essential functions. The RUN mode is used for setting threshold values, zero point adjustment and locking or releasing the keys. A detailed setting mode is then available for basic settings regarding the sensor operation.
The LCD display offers a wide viewing angle, so that it is easy to see even from an oblique angle. The color can be selected from red or white, according with the output operation. The device measure only 24,9 mm in depth, allowing installation in a narrow space, and has very light weight of only about 25 g, making it suitable for mounting on robot arms, for example. The pressure sensor has been created especially for the electrical and electronic, semiconductor and auto-assembly industry and for the biomedical (laboratory automation), where simplicity and performance are key requirements.
