Digital automatic pump Seepex awarded for innovation

The SCT AutoAdjust automated progressive cavity pump by Seepex has won the German Innovation Award 2021 assigned by the German Design Council, in the Business-to-Business – Machinery and Engineering category.

SCT AutoAdjust is a progressive cavity pump that can be automatically monitored and adjusted via a new type of hydraulic adjustment unit with digital monitoring and control technology, which compensates for wear and always provides the optimum operating point. It then allows the device to be configured. Operational data is sent to Seepex’s cloud and analyzed by AI.

Maintenance can be optimized for planning, process downtime and personnel and equipment usage. Overall, pump performance, life and energy use are optimized, as the digital enhancement also provides an improvement in consumption. In this way, SCT AutoAdjust achieves maximum process efficiency with minimal operating costs.
