The new version of HBM Test and measurements’ Perception software allows data acquisition of high-speed data and CANbus signals. Perception and Genesis high-speed data acquisition instruments are ideally suited for measuring at extremely high measuring rates and processing large quantities of data, and the new version expands the scope application with acquisition of CANbus signals by the QuantumX MX471B module, which has four CAN interfaces and is able to read CAN, CCP and xCP-on-CAN messages.

The synchronization with Genesis high-speed instruments is achieved with ethernet-based PTP protocol. A new function of freely configurable Users Keys (buttons) makes the software even easier to use, allowing the combination of multiple commands and lists of actions having them assigned to one User Key. Saving of valuable minutes of test time is then possible by simply clicking the User Key to perform a whole list of actions, without limits to the number of User Keys, so users can set up a wide variety of helpful buttons.
