BIG Kaiser is starting its next round of strengthening the company with the appointment of Reto Adam as new ceo, effective as of February 1st. Adam, BIG Kaiser’s plant manager since 2015, brought back then an extensive management experience and professional competence, and during these years has gained a solid knowledge of all the company’s portfolio solutions for the metalworking industry.
Reto Adam is taking the place of Takuya Ichii, in BIG Daishowa Seiki since 2004, who moved to Switzerland in 2013 in order to develop and expand the co-operation between BDS and BIG Kaiser, while strengthening the professional exchange and communication between the two countries.
Ichii will remain chief of business development at BIG Kaiser and will work more intensively in close co-operation with BDS, mapping the strategic course of the company. Together with ceo Reto Adam and cfo Gaby Vuilleumier, they will form the new executive management.
