Bearings, Brammer records in distribution
A sales record by 42 million of bearings has been reached in 2015 by Brammer. The milestone has been achieved thanks to the company’s wide range of products offer, including more than 10 million bearing across 56.000 different types, of all five major bearing brands, FAG, INA, NSK, SKF and Timken, but also to the continuous attention to ensure cost savings to customers and lowered stock management.
Brammer helps indeed customers implement continuous improvement programmes, as a crucial part of customer stock control and purchasing processes, leading in 2015 to over €10 million of cost savings. The considerable buying power, that allows Brammer to offer competitive pricing, and the pan-Europe scale and local presence are others factors that led to the result: with 16 major distribution centers across 23 countries in Europe, and more than 400 branches, the distributor ensures its customers to benefit from pan-european supply agreements, in order to adopt consistent methods across operations, remaining responsive for local delivery 24/7/365.
