NKE developed special single-row deep groove ball bearings especially for conveyor belt rollers that operate in harsh conditions, such as transporting sand or rock in the mining sector.

Roller bearings are some of the most important components of support and tensioning rollers in conveyor belts, as a support element, shaping the belt and reducing the resistance to movement. The re-engineered design optimize performance capability and service life compared with standard bearings, and have a special cage construction of low-friction synthetic material, improved raceway geometry, adjusted radial internal clearance, special low friction seals and a selected lubricant for use in a broad operating temperature range.

NKE roller bearings for conveyor belts maintain their functions even under heavy loads and without increased frictional torque, avoiding the risk of uncontrolled rise of temperature in the bearings thus reducing the risk of fire, prolonging the service life and reducing energy consumption, increasing the conveyors system’s reliability and lowering overall operating costs.
