Autodesk started a partnership with Village Capital to fund initiatives aimed to the development of workforce’s skills, focused on entrepreneurship, job training and upskilling in a world growing in automation. This initiatives seeks to identify and nurture early-stage companies harnessing artificial intelligence, robotics and automation to positively impact workforce through increased efficiency, augmentation and upskilling. The initiative will culminate in a one-day forum with Autodesk Foundation and Village Capital.
The company is also teaming up with LinkedIn Learning, an online learning platform that combines Lynda.com’s world-class content with the power of the LinkedIn network. Started on last November 14th, and on for 90 days, more than 40 courses have been unlocked, relevant to architecture, infrastructure, construction and manufacturing industries, including courses on leading Autodesk software. The courses, available in 5 languages, train the in-demand skill needed for AI and automation-enabled future of work, ranging from construction management to product design and certification prep.
