On the occasion of its tenth anniversary, Nord Drivesystems S.A. de C.V. Mexico opened a new, larger assembly plant and office in Huimilpan, in the state of Querétaro, Mexico. The new facility is one of the five assembly centers of the international Nord Drivesystems Group in North America, and the global relevance of the event was highlighted by the visitors, distributors, OEMs, partners and users that attended the grand opening.
Among the topics covered, the future expansion plans for Mexico and US operations and the growing presence in Latin America of the company. Nord Mexico has experienced continuous growth in the region, with a 70% sales increase since 2012. The Huimilpan facility now boasts a shop floor of 1.860 sqm, and is poised to further expand its assembly capacities and add more product lines in the coming years. The company serves customers nationwide, offering very short lead times and high availability, supported by a network of four district offices and over 35 local distributors.
