Access control, Hörmann acquires Pilomat majority

Hörmann Group acquires a majority of interests in the italian company Pilomat, a company based in Grassobbio, Bergamo, specialized in the production of barriers for access control and protection against unauthorized access to land, by car or truck. Hörmann Group signed an agreement to take over 70% of the shares in the company, while the remaining 30% stay in possession of the owner family Toffetti.

Bruno Toffetti (pictured on the left, together with Christoph Hörmann,  general partner of Hörmann Group), an experienced managing director with a solid know-how on the market, remains in his managing role in Pilomat, and the company will continue to operate under the name Pilomat on the market. The Pilomat products, fixed and retractable bollards and road blockages for property security and access control, will expand the Hörmann offer in the field of terrain and building safety, and the Group aims to expand the distribution of Pilomat products thanks to its international structures.
