The EPHJ-EPMT-SMT Trade show 2018 will take place at the Palexpo in Geneva from June 12 through 15, dedicated to high precision technologies in the fields of watch-making and jewellery, medical technology and microtechnology. Following the previous year’s success, the 2018 edition will expand the start-up village, aimed to contribute to bring visibility and to help the development of young companies keenly focused on innovation and the value added they can bring to different sectors present at the Trade show.

Another huge topic of discussion will be the Industry 4.0 in the round tables events. The 2018 show will also have a more overtly female presence, with the Women’s Day to be organized on June 13rd, showcasing the role of women in the industry, giving the floor to female company heads, industrial experts, managers and creatives in the tech industry. In addition then to the traditional opening event of the Exhibitor’s Grand Prix, a very interesting addition of the 2018 edition will be the launch of the Watch Medtech Innovation Challenge, a competition organized with the Inartis Foundation and aimed to the development of projects and ideas to help watchmaking companies to diversify into the medtech sector.
