Lubricants Castrol for Piaggio Group

Castrol and the Piaggio Group have signed a multiannual global agreement for the supply of lubricants for the Italian Group’s motorized two-wheeler brands, Piaggio, Vespa, Aprilia, Moto Guzzi, Derbi and Gilera. The agreement covers the exclusive supply of first fill engine oil for Piaggio Group two-wheelers manufactured around the world, and for its commercial vehicles produced in Italy, as well as the supply of Castrol industrial and driveline products.

The recommended products by Piaggio Group, Castrol Power1 5W-40 and Castrol Power1 10W-40, will also be available for after sales in major world markets, and will be in addition distributed through Piaggio’s multi brand Motoplex stores in Europe and Asia Pacific. The Piaggio Group has decided to choose Castrol after a strict testing process, including extensive field trials, which demonstrated Castrol Power1 oil’s performance in terms of engine efficiency and durability.
