Connected design Autodesk on cloud
Autodesk’s Forge platform surpassed 4.000 applications developed, ranging a wide variety of business needs, demonstrating the high demand for connected design and on cloud engineering experiences. Autodesk is then introducing new capabilities to the instrument, which is the foundation for the company’s cloud services like Fusion 360 and BIM 360, such as the augmented reality/virtual reality support into the Forge 3D browser and mobile viewing experience.
Data preparation and connectivity services, to ease the asset pipeline between real-time AR/VR applications and Autodesk’s native design solutions, will also be available in the future. A new Forge Render API will soon extend rendering power to any application, and the data management has been enhanced to support access projects and files managed in support for BIM 360 Docs and Fusion. Autodesk is also pursuing industry standard security compliance, such as SOC2, to maintain robust security and data protection controls, allowing customers to focus on creating services with high confidence.
