Robot Comau awarded Product 2015
Comau‘s Racer 3 robot won the Product of the year 2015 award during the contest organized by Control Engineering Poland, in the category Industrial robots. The robot Comau, lately launched on the market, is built completely in aluminium and magnesium, weighs just 30 kg and features a maximum reach of 630 mm, with payload of 3 kg.
Its compact size and extreme velocity make the robot the perfect solution for applications such as assembly, material handling, machine tending, dispensing and pick and place, offering maximum precision and velocity in small work places. The award given to Comau (pictured, second from left, Tobias Daniel, head of sales & marketing Comau, with the Comau Poland team accepting the prize during the ceremony) is assigned following two voting phases for a total duration of 6 months, a first one by representatives of universities, technical institutes, media and industry professionals, and a second one with selected products made available to Control Engineering reader’s vote.
