Safety for employees at RS

RS Components extended its portfolio of RS-branded safety products with a range of lockouts, lockout kits and lockout stations for the safety of employees, facility managers and electrical panels installers. The lockout tag-out product range (Loto) by RS includes lockouts to close-off electrical panels, circuit breakers, switches and other devices targeting ball and gate valves for hydraulic application, in order to avoid the risk of damage to people or machinery, during servicing or maintenance operations.

Loto procedures are indeed essential to safeguard injuries in case machinery unexpectedly energises, starts up or releases stored energy. Lockout devices hold energy-isolation devices in a safe or off position, and tag-out devices warn not to reenergise machinery during servicing or maintenance. The range includes three portable lockout kits, Lockout starter kit, Valve lockout kit and Electrician lockout kit.
