Emerson introduced its Preciflow miniature proportional valves by Asco Numatics, for pressure and flow control in analytical and medical industries applications. The valve has a footprint of 12,7 mm and is RoHS compliant, for a pressure range of -0,9 (vacuum) up to 10 bar, and offers easy integration into existing systems thanks to its small size and light weight, and operation can be customised according to customer requirements.

The device has key features resulting in reduced wear and tear, increased life-span and ensuring its accuracy over time, and two internal flat springs allow the core to float freely, minimising friction during operation. Preciflow offers typical hysteresis rated at 5%, providing accurate and repeatable control, and low power consumption, and integrates the Asco Numatics solutions range for the medical sector by Emerson, also suitable for oxygen service, making it ideal for gas chromatography and mass spectrometry applications.
