Atex directly operated proportional valve by Parker

Parker Hannifin made available its patented VCD drive technology also for explosion risk environments, with the DFplus proportional DC valve D1FP, Atex and IECEx certified. The valve differs from the standard version with its pressurized encapsulation for the electronics, making it suitable for applications in chemical processing, oil & gas and power plants industries.

The DFplus valve D1FP of nominal size NG06 is extremely robust and thanks to its unique VCD actuator can reach performance levels usually only achieved by servo-valves with torque motor drives, thus offering high dynamics combined with maximum flow. The D1FP is particularly suited to hydraulic applications, where the highest accuracy in positioning of hydraulic axis and controlling of pressure and velocity are required. The power-down position ensures that the spool moves in a defined position if the power supply should be interrupted.

Versions with EtherCAT interfaces are available, and parameters can be set and recorded using the Parker’s ProPxD free software.
