Pharma products traceability, Antares Vision strengthens in Brasil

The Antares Vision Group is to acquire through its subsidiary Antares Vision Do Brasil the 51% of T2 Software, a Brasilian company specialized in the smart management of data and processes for product serialization and traceability. Based in Santo Amaro, in the district of Sao Paolo, T2 Software supplies pharmaceutical companies in Brasil and worldwide, with a 2018 turnover of 637.000 reais.

The company’s portfolio includes software solutions for serialization data management along the entire supply chain and a cloud platform employing AI and smart sensors to retrieve, storage and manage big data in real time. The offering is also dedicated to the development of mobile device software, and in a solution for the migration of part of the enterprise infrastructure to the cloud.

The protection of products covering their whole life cycle is a hot topic in Brasil, where falsification of pharma products can reach top to 30% of the market, and where the legislation on pharma products serialization and traceability is on it’s implementation phase. The Antares Vision Group also consolidated its footprint in Brasil with the opening of a new site of 3.000 mq of the Antares Vision Do Brasil local company, operating in the Country since 2013.
