Mobile sector, Duplomatic announces the acquisition of Hydreco

Strengthening in the mobile sector for Duplomatic, which has announced with Alcedo sgr, private equity fund and Duplomatic’s majority shareholder, the acquisition of Hydreco Hydraulics. The international company operated in the mobile sector solutions, for agricultural, constructions, mining, transports, defense, offshore and shipyards.

Acquired in 2018 from the industrial conglomerate Textron, Hydreco has been developed by Clyde Blowers Capital (CBC) broadening its products range and expanding its market presence. Following the establishment of a presence in China and an increase of operational footprint within India in 2010, CBC supported the successful acquisition of HHW, based in Australia (2013). The business now has a significant global reach, with a focus on the transport (APAC), defence (UK) and construction (Europe) sectors. Hydreco’s sales have thus increased by +28% since 2015, to over £ 25,6m.

This acquisition will consolidate Duplomatic’s international presence and will widen its product portfolio, in particular for the mobile market, contributing to its positioning as a leader in the global motion control market.
