produzione additiva accordo Siemens Trumpf

Siemens and Trumpf announced a partnership aimed to develop an end-to-end software solution to optimize and streamline additive manufacturing of 3D printed metal parts. The aim is to integrate and streamline the entire powder-bed-based laser metal fusion (LMF) process for Trumpf printing machines into Siemens NX software. The solution, TruTops Print with NX, will integrate the Siemens’ NX software technology for additive manufacturing design and engineering with the Trumpf build processor for 3D print operation, and will be sold with Trumpf TruPrint Laser Metal Fusion printers.

The software package offers a standardized user interface across the end-to-end additive manufacturing process, addressing the entire digital process chain in a single, integrated associative software environment. It will eliminate the need to use separate standalone applications, for part design and data preparation, not requiring data conversion, because the tools for design, simulation, 3D printing and NC programming of metal parts will be integrated into one system.
