30 SPECIAL EMO 2023 Promotional message The various configurations The effort to design a system that can be integrated into machines has resulted in an extremely compact hydraulic power unit that can nevertheless achieve high performance levels and ensure that the production process offers a considerable degree of automa- tion and stability. The hydraulic power unit is available in various configurations. With radial piston pump for pressures up to 700 bar, or with a gear pump for pressures up to 200 bar and a maximum flow rate of 2.2 l/min. It also comes in a version with dual pumping ele- ments for an integrated high/low pressure system. In this case, the unloading of the low-pressure flow rate is obtained by auto- matic hydraulic switching to the pre-established pressure at the machine design stage. There are two motor powers in the version with supply voltage: 3x 400 V 50 Hz / 460 V 60 Hz (three-phase multi-frequency motor), in particular from 0.25 kW and 0.55 kW. The version with 1x 230 V 50 Hz motor supply voltage (sin- gle-phase motor) was developed with a 0.37 kW motor. They are suitable for nominal S2 (short-term duty) and S3 (periodic inter- mittent duty) operation. The tank can be supplied in three sizes, to suit operational requirements. Possibility of mounting solenoid valves To complement the Inka ‘system’, a series of Hawe valves and so- lenoid valves can be mounted directly onto the control units, in ac- cordance with application needs, through an interface obtained di- rectly on the body of the control unit itself. The fact that the Hawe solenoid valves are perfectly sealed makes it possible to obtain on-off systems that allow the control unit to be activated exactly when needed, and this gives significant energy savings. The main areas of application for Inka power units are: machine tools, for clamping pieces or axes; rotary tables, for locking the ta- ble; control of small hydraulic tools; on mould-locking presses; lock- ing clamps; materials testing machines; industrial braking systems. IO-Link interface communication scheme Hawe Hydraulik, a future-oriented concern that has always been at the cutting edge of developments in compact hydraulic systems for applications on industrial machines, presents Inka: a new compact power unit that has been adapted in response to new market de- mands. The main feature, along with its compactness, is its abili- ty to remotely monitor the operating parameters, using protocols based on IO-Link technology for data transmission. The electrical box containing the hardware is directly connected in real time to the operating system, through which operating data can be acquired and archived. The measured values of the integrated multi-sensor are transmitted via IO-Link protocols to the PLC of the machine, which also pro- cesses the data. This procedure can be used for a scheduled main- tenance and analysis plan, and to check for any malfunctions or to identify the cause of any anomaly found in the system. HAWE ITALIANA Srl Via C.
